Sometimes it’s forced at first, but in order to live and find happiness again, you have to live. You may not feel like it. You may want to wallow in your emotions. But you have to keep going. You have to pick yourself up and force yourself to be part of this world. Eventually, it won’t be a chore.
As a solo traveler, I enjoy making new friends. In Vietnam, I had the chance to meet up with some new friends a few times. Their stories are very interesting.
I would be living in Whistler, Canada for at least a month. I rented an Airbnb, bought groceries, and settled in. I also met a neighbor.
I was returning back to Los Angeles after traveling for four months. It felt strange because I no longer had a house to return to. My life was different now. I was a single woman with no home now.
I found out that my doctor passed away, which was very upsetting. I went for a hike to reflect. The next day, I took the ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles and returned to the U.S.
